Foodhallen Introduction
Founded in 2014.
Foodhallen is part of the De Hallen complex in Amsterdam, which was once a historic tram depot.
In addition to Amsterdam, there are also Foodhallen locations in The Hague and Rotterdam. This time, we visited the one in Amsterdam.
Aside from indulging in delicious cuisine, you can also watch a movie here.(FilmHallen)
Inside, you’ll find a wide variety of foods, including Asian cuisine (sushi, noodles), local Dutch snacks, French dishes, and Italian (pizza).
Apart from the food, there are often different markets here, like the denim market we encountered today, where you can see jeans hanging everywhere – very cool.
There’s an area reminiscent of Taiwan traditional market, selling fresh vegetables, fruits, and flowers.
If you want to experience Dutch life, this place offers a strong local vibe.
The key point is that this food court is indoors, which is essential in rainy Holland.

buffalo hot chicken wings (6pieces)8.99€
A hundred times tastier than I imagined!!!!! The chicken wings were juicy and flavorful. They were also generous with the sesame seeds. Though a bit spicy, it was incredibly satisfying.

BEEF-The Classic Beef (6balls)7.75€+SAUCE(Mustard)
Dutch classic snacks.
One of the must-eat foods when visiting the Netherlands.
Use leftover dishes from the previous day, mix them with minced meat, and fry them into balls or elongated shapes, serving them as appetizers.
The flavor is very rich, akin to having soup inside. Dutch often order this as a snack, and the texture varies from one restaurant to another. For those visiting Amsterdam and wanting to experience something local, I highly recommend checking out Foodhallen!
