When visiting Bali, besides the sun and the beach, delicious food is definitely an essential part of the experience! Near Kuta Beach, you’ll find plenty of unique restaurants, and this time, we decided to try “Rosso Vivo Dine & Lounge”, an Italian restaurant.
Rosso Vivo is part of Kuta Seaview Boutique Resort, and as a hotel-affiliated restaurant, the quality should be guaranteed. Sitting in the outdoor seating area, you can enjoy your meal while admiring the stunning sunset over Kuta Beach—a perfect feast for both the eyes and the taste buds!
Next to the restaurant, there’s a swimming pool, adding to the relaxing vacation vibes. This place feels like the perfect spot to unwind, take beautiful photos, and slowly savor a delightful dinner.

Restaurant Interior

If you prefer not to sit outdoors, indoor seating is also available. However, the indoor area does not have air conditioning either—it simply offers more shade from the sun.

Outdoor Sofa Area: In Bali, most outdoor seating areas allow smoking. So if you don’t like the smell of smoke, it’s better to sit indoors.

This restaurant is an ideal spot for a romantic date.
Most of the seats here provide a breathtaking view of the Kuta Beach sunset.

Grissini

Pizza New York 195000 IDR
Tomato sauce base, minced beef, pineapple, olive, green pepper, salami, and mozzarella.
The crust is insanely good—chewy, fragrant, and so flavorful! The salty salami combined with the sweetness of the pineapple adds a perfect balance and depth to the taste.

Pizza Salami 200000 IDR
Tomato sauce base, cured beef salami, red & yellow capsicum, and arugula.

Seadfood Jimbaran 699000 IDR
Jimbaran style grilled whole fish, prawn, squid, clam, served with rice, sambal ulek, sambal matah, sambal sere.
This is seriously spicy!!!
I think the seasoning is just right, so only add extra sauce if you really want more flavor.

The seafood is quite fresh, with a rich smoky aroma from the charcoal grill. Paired with the slightly spicy sauce, it really enhances the natural sweetness of the seafood.”

The grilled fish remains tender and juicy, while the squid has a nice chewy texture with a slight charred aroma from the grill. Squeezing some lemon over it helps balance out the oiliness.
As for the shellfish… I honestly can’t get used to it. I didn’t like it at all—I guess I’ll always prefer Taiwanese clams!
Overall, I found the flavors quite enjoyable. The only downside is that seafood seems to attract a ton of flies trying to feast with you. I highly recommend eating it as soon as it’s served!
Sunset Bliss at Kuta Beach

Sitting in the front row at Kuta Beach, I watch as the sun slowly descends, painting the entire sky in fiery hues. The ocean shimmers like it’s been dusted with gold. As the sunlight fades into soft shades of pink and orange, the night begins to fall. This moment is breathtakingly beautiful!
